Communities in the Canadian province of Alberta will be lit with LED streetlights as a result of a partnership of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) and energy provider FortisAlberta. The towns of Stony Plain, Innisfail and Okotoks will receive a distribution of approximately 300 LED streetlights which will be installed as replacements for existing high pressure sodium (HPS) streetlight fixtures.
